Probably, but again I'm not sure how it affects things. Either biomass infected by spores or infection forms that turn into combat forms are autonomously able, either individually or as a group, to devise and carry out a plan to attack and infect other species as well as acquiring resources needed to escape, or Gravemind made that plan himself and directed those combat forms to carry it out. What's the difference, really?
