Honestly, I'm not bashing Bungie as a group. I appreciate the games and the work put into them, but I think they tend to think of themselves too highly. Their recent interviews smack of being overly proud, and while the game sold millions, and they deserve a congratulatory period, I think they are far to happy with themselves. Also the fact that they needed Contact Harvest to fill in some of the blanks in plot shows, too me, that they just didn't try very hard. With Halo 3 they tried to balance the gameplay and the plot, but they seemed to aim it at idiots. It's almost like the backlash from Halo 2 forced them into a corner where they tried to ignore some of the ideas they had set up, remove some of the plot, and simply hope they could use a book to fill in the unknown reasons why the Covenant wanted us dead, etc... - Charley
