In Response To: Re: The worst example is Floodgate (Louis Wu) : Um... wow. Go back and read a few of the 'Game of the Year Award' writeups : for Bioshock. Plot plays a HUGE role in its critical acclaim. Plot may be part of why those games are amazing, but before they came out plot wasnt a selling point is what elpolloguapo is trying to say. Before Bioshock came out, the only hint that it might have a good plot was the demo, and that didnt give any idea of how good the plot actually was. But most people bought it because the combination of plasmids and guns was different and fun.
