Granted I didn't : know Halsey's journal came with the edition above the basic one, but : still. It's not a full book, and I don't think it warrants an additional : $20. You've got to be kidding. Have you actually seen or, more importantly, held this thing of beauty? Hardcopy books often cost $20 and up these days, and few of them are pieces of art in themselves. Far classier than the cat helmet, the book and the case it comes in exude quality. The statue was a much more questionable value, not having played the game. (And even having played the game and now knowing the characters in the statue, I don't think it was worth the price difference.) Halsey's journal is quite simply the coolest Halo-related object that exists in the real world, except for maybe the Warthog, but we can't buy the Warthog. Halsey's journal is a freaking steal, dizzy.
