Honestly, no game up until Reach : clashed so blatantly with the rest of the canon. It wouldn't be such an : issue if it was something small like, say, Sgt. Stacker and Chips Dubbo : somehow escaping Halo. So WHY did Bungie contradict canon so seriously? That's what I want to know.
