The saddest part is after the success was apparent, they could have easily tried to minimize the errors and still did little in that regard. The Reach game compounds the problem exponentially. I like Bungie and their games, but I'd fear that if they did another one things would still get worse, not better. Enjoy your new IP Bungie! I'll wait and see what 343i can do with all of this.
