In Response To: A fair point. *NM* (Anton P. Nym (aka Steve)) One of the most common criticisms I've heard about Halo is that, without the books, it's nothing more than a generic scifi shooter. In the case of Reach and CE, I actually agree with that. At least 2 and 3 brought things to a grand scale, but still, the universe is kind of bland without the novels.
