With care, the Halo universe could have been expanded and not been made inconsistent. It's a lack of proper care, or a perception that creative hands are tied. Neither needs to be the case. It could have been done.
It wasn't.
What do we get now after 10 years? A lot of frustrated fans trying to figure out what's official and what's not.
