In Response To: I think we hold the books in too high a regard. (Riceatron) And I made a mention that if we ever had a novelization of 2 and 3, we'd end up with two universes, each internally consistent. That's the main issue. Bungie did the games, and may not have really cared for the novels. The adaption of Halo 1, The Flood, isn't consistent with the game, but it IS consistent with TFoR, and even FS. It even makes mention of Reach and Kelly and James and the other Spartans. If we had 2 and 3 in book form, I'm sure we would have had no issues except when you try and tie the games and books together. The books are consistent with each other. The games are consistent with each other. The issues is why they aren't consistent together
