In Response To: Re: That's stupid from a gaming standpoint *SP* (thebruce0) I've never made the mistake of trying to reconcile novel canon with video game canon until now. Why? Because of the Spartan IIIs. Bungie finally ventured into the novels, going so far as to reference Pegasi Delta in that initial cinematic reveal. I can't say I'd have ever considered TFoR if not for that. There were a lot of ways to reconcile the canon with the novels, but Bungie opted not to do that. That's perfectly fine. Cherrypicking I suppose, but it has led to obvious confusion regardless.
