They really seem to be all about tying canon together, whether from the extended universe, the novels, or from the ARGs (not sure about ILB, though). It might be subtle or introduced for the fans who are all about all things canon or just those who follow the ARGs, but I don't see why there wouldn't be some inclusion (no matter how small, like in the logo for instance).
