If its new functionality added latter than initially designed then it *breaks* continuity, not maintains it. I don't get it. The objection to the jetpacks and the shoulders is the same-- lack of opportunity. But where the appearance of the shoulders and gauntlets are utterly, utterly irrelevant, because they affect neither gameplay nor plot, you point it out as a break in continuity-- while giving a free excuse to a modification also made without opportunity that literally ruins the character significance of previous cinematic cutscenes. Why?
