Given the amount of rage this past week you'd think that 343i had intentionally gone out of their way to ruin your wedding, your mothers funeral, or the birth of your first child! I'm pumped about the announcement of Halo 4, cos I like PLAYING Halo GAMES for FUN. At present there is factually zero information to draw any conclusions as to whether Halo 4 will be a FUN GAME. Supposing H4 is a total tonne of fun, has amazing gameplay, engaging story blah blah is everyone seriously suggesting that they won't play it because he woke up with a jetpack on? Or, because a ubiquitous retcon was introduced to account for said jetpack? (which he may or may not wake up with?!) Having said that, this rage also pours scorn on the quotes from 343 during the past week that H4 is going to draw together a lot of story nuggets and threads added in the additional fiction and content they've produced over the past 4 years. I.e. they're carefully including deeper universe plot points to give hardcore fans (not me!) juicy H4 satisfaction.
