You can see from this thread that I haven't really been in this discussion. The Chief having thrusters or different armor doesn't bother me that much. I just wonder what the thought process was behind revealing those things in a way that might confuse a lot of folks. I mean, look at the way they reacted over his gauntlets between Halo 2 and 3. Even the smallest unexplained changes will whip people into a frenzy.
