Bungie has had years to set expectations and has a certain way of doing things. 343 Industries technically has yet to prove themselves, and while I'm optimistic that they can pull this off and keep me hooked on Halo, I can't say that that trailer was a successful attempt at doing so. What I really can't wait to see is their own actual stuff, in game, and ready to be picked apart for real. Obviously not just gameplay, but an actual trailer like some of the ones Bungie or Bioware put out that make us ask "whoa what is that creature over there, or what is it wearing?" or "Wow, we've never seen that before! I wonder what it does" or even "What the hell was that sound? I bet that thing's going to be deadly/awe-inspiring". And honestly, if Bungie had released that exact trailer for Halo 4, bleh. They wouldn't be getting any nicer comments on it from me in regards to its successes/failures from a marketing standpoint either.
