In Response To: Re: well... (Chewbeccawacca) : That's what I was thinking. Watching the trailer (again, and AGAIN, AND : AGAIN!) I don't see any actual evidence that they're still on the Foward : Unto Dawn. All I see is Master Chief coming out of cryo to the cries of a : female AI (who honestly doesn't look much like Cortana) and making his way : through a half-destroyed space ship using gear and weapons we have not : yet become familar with. An interesting take on the trailer, but if we suppose it's true this poses some important questions. 1.) Where and how did the Chief acquire a new cut-in-half UNSC ship and Cortana-esque AI in the middle of god knows where? 2.) And why would Chief lock himself back up into cryo again for another long sleep (note the built-up ice and frost in the trailer) when he just got out of one? 3.) Is Narc's joke about a "Spartans R' Us" store in the middle of nowhere, unfortunately, rather close to the truth? Personally I find that this explanation stretches my suspension of disbelief even more than the 'original' interpretation. For the record, I still think that the trailer is supposed to be depicting The Dawn, Cortana, Chief and Unicron.
