In Response To: Re: Hawaiian Pig's Fantabulous Story Review *SP* (7he_7ruth) : This is true, however, then they shouldn't have made a game that would : contradict the novels so much -making them utterly pointless. Might as : well have a game about the fighting that occurred throughout Earth when : the Chief was doing his thing. Not like ODST however, just a Spartan team : going around ruing the Covenants day wherever they went. Make it a bit : darker too, make the Covenant "scary", see the evacuations that : UNSC was trying to pull off as their world caved in around them. It : would've been a simplistic concept with contradicting so much. Might have : made a better tale too. What would've been cool, bouncing of other ideas that've been thrown around... Have Halsey give you a data chip that contains coordinates found on the Crystal from Sigma Octanus that were made translatable due to Forerunner discoveries below Reach. You're told to meet up with Captain Keyes and his onboard AI Cortana. Then do the whole launch into space, fight off Covies from Autumn, there's a time table because Keyes needs to rendezvous with the Chief. Keyes takes a Pelican out to a space station (Maybe Anchor 9) in which you dock as well. You hand off the data, and take off. You then defend the PoA until it can jump at which point you get hit and 'splode. You fall to the surface and the game cuts to back. Standard Credits. Lone Wolf begins with Six getting up, but pretty beat up, making his demise in Lone Wolf even more believable. Kick. Ass.
