Dismissing others' subjective responses as simply false gets tedious, too. Acknowledging subjectivity and not presenting what are only your perceptions as if they are absolute, inarguable facts is less confrontational and more respectful to those who might disagree. Example: A: Hamburgers are the best.
It's that kind of response that leads more diplomatic people to make their subject line "Speak for yourself." --Kermit sometimes feels like the Emily Post of HBO.
