Dismissing others' subjective responses as simply false gets tedious, too. Acknowledging subjectivity and not presenting what are only your perceptions as if they are absolute, inarguable facts is less confrontational and more respectful to those who might disagree.

Example:

A: Hamburgers are the best.
B: I prefer hot dogs.
A: Really? But hamburgers are the only food worth eating. You might like hot dogs but that doesn't mean that they're good.

It's that kind of response that leads more diplomatic people to make their subject line "Speak for yourself."
