Well when you say it like that... : Can you really end a story at the beginning? Reach was always doomed to fail, : and I think storywise, it can't be satisfying. I liked it. Either way, I don't think an ending should need to be unexpected to be good. There are plenty of stories, think Shakespeare's tragedies and others, where the ending is basically known but the audience reaches the conclusion still hoping against hope that a happy ending can be salvaged. Maybe Reach doesn't do that second part, probably by design.
