: Funny, they didn't even glass Reach at all. It was all an ONI ruse. That kind : of makes them a little less fearful, does it not? Could have fooled me. Looks rather glassed from the beginning. Besides we all know Reach was never fully glassed. Well all of us that read First Strike at least. Maybe the level of devastation was not nearly that of some of the other colony worlds, but those plasma nukes seem to have been doing a great job of glassing the planet. Plus I don't buy everything those AIs thought they knew. They estimated way too little on the size of the Covenant's fleet power. How many times did the Chief see a glassing of a planet again? Oh yeah plenty as told in the novels.
