I need to watch that final cutscene again, do we have the : Forerunner legacy? Did Halsey give it to us? The only thing I've been able to take from it is just an impression that the colony ship looks a little more... well... modern or advanced compared to most human ships. Through co-operation with former Covenant species or recovered Forerunner knowledge, who knows.
