In Response To: Re: Halo 4... (dizzy) : I just think Bungie honestly did a really poor job with the : continuity of the book compared to the game. Poor is a way to put it : nicely because frankly they pretty much threw the book out the window. The : novel was supposed to be approved canon by Bungie themselves, and they : made the game as if it had never happened. I feel as though working with : the events in The Fall of Reach and First Strike, Bungie could have : crafted an AMAZING experience with the existing Spartan IIs. Instead they : opted for Spartan IIIs and threw the whole thing off and went with a quick : dirty way to get a decent story out. But tehn we would have known the plot already... I just wish there were more tie-ins, like us hearing about the MAC cannons failing. (As someone without an xBox, Nylund is the Halo story. A little strong, but he was first (by about a month.))
