Maybe you're just letting yourself get spoiled by the system and its goals, and forgetting to provide your own ones sometimes?

Halo 3 had a PIS too ya know. Those military ranks? That climb for higher Trueskill? Just cus we have a name for it now doesn't mean systems didn't exist before.
