I'd dream about the day when I would be able to fly a starfighter : through realistic canyons, over huge capital ships, etc. We've got that : now and I don't ever want to go back. Valid point. This is what I meant with my comment about technology and progression. Everything evolves and changes. Games used to be "run right then jump over or punch your enemy" and we loved it. 25 years went by and now you have to take a training course just to learn how to play the game. And with competition the way it is, one game maker will innovate. The next game maker will use that innovation and add their own innovation and this keeps repeating. For the record, I still play my NES on a regular basis. Tetris > Hexic HD
However, I've recently been REALLY enjoying my Wii and Super Mario Bros. and Wheel of Fortune. and WoF is only $30 brand new.
