I don't even care anymore. And it sucks that I don't. I wish I did.
The recent mishap where the pistol-kill amount was glitched actually damaged Bungie's image in my eyes. It shows that the challenges are simple copy-paste. It's like they don't even care. I hope it gets an overhaul soon, because all of these "assists" and "kills" and "beat campaign mission with blah blah skulls" Challenges are a joke. We're not stupid, and I hope 343 learns from this (if they lurk this forum). We want creative challenges.
By the way, any challenge about no-death runs needs to require a single session from the start. Until then, I have zero qualms with checkpointing at the end of a level and quitting/continuing the level for five steps to get the Challenge.
