In Response To: I agree with you and Cody (ManKitten) : I miss the : classic arcade style games like Contra, Double Dragon and Street Fighter. When I was a kid I would get bored playing a game like Defender after 30 mins. I'd dream about the day when I would be able to fly a starfighter through realistic canyons, over huge capital ships, etc. We've got that now and I don't ever want to go back. You can't go home again. I miss Street Fighter II because it was such a phenomenon. Fun gameplay, a story that was kooky/cheesy but still compelling, great character design. Capcom misses it too, because they've never recaptured the magic. I've never wanted to play, and never played, any SF release the way I played SFII SNES. Never will. SFIV lasted maybe 4 hours before I put it away. Trying to find that magic through sequels never works. One of my favorite games of the Saturn era was Treasure's Guardian Heroes. I know if I went back to play it, I'd be disappointed. And no current-gen remake could ever compete with my memories. But luckily companies like The Behemoth are out there providing games like Castle Crashers to give me that old school Treasure/Guardian Heroes fix. (Bring on Battleblock Theater!)
