There wasn't a target you were trying to hit or a : challenge to meet or an end in sight, it was just up to you, your buddies : and fate. Well ODSTs Firefight's main problem was that it ended up quite repetitive, built fairly slow, and by set 5(?) the difficulty leveled off but the points kept getting higher. Then again, Reach's firefight resets its difficulty by the end of a single set so... :(
