In Response To: On Bungie and the Value of the Player's Time (Cody Miller) So do you totally reject the Bartle scale for types of players? Everyone should be an achiever and all (worthwhile) games should be developed for achievers? I'm a explorer/socializer/killer so your viewpoint feels like it's coming from an alien planet. The best stories I have from gaming revolve around those three things, not "skill." I have no desire to ever work out a competitive StarCraft skillset or be able to play IdrA or WhiteRa or the like.
