No, I meant that there are difficulties on both sides of the table. Among the Sangheili, you've got those that follow Arbiter and are ready to forsake everything associated with the old religious hegemony, versus a 'Reformist' faction that believes humans are no better than the San 'Shyuum and the Sangheili should assume their rightful place above all others. Among humans, you've likewise got the optimists and pessimists; the ones who are excited by the prospect of intragalactic cooperation and the ones who'd prefer to see the filthy aliens suffer. Think of it like relationship between Japan and the US after WWII. The Kilo Five trilogy is taking the pessimist's approach, which goes against the optimism of H3's resolution, and I just don't like it. It would be more interesting to me if new characters like Lasky were leading the charge towards peace and found they had to contend with the warmongering arch-conservatives among both the Sangheili and UNSC. : I digressed.
