Hence, it should be a colony ship. Gather resources, rescue refugees, reclaim lost territory, keep the peace. There is so much good you could do with the Infinity. It's the "culmination of human achievement," after all. Instead, it's being used as a forward military base. I perceive that to be a failure of the writing. If the Prometheans are so dumb and boring, why is that what we ended up with? : What would you do different or better? Oh, don't get me started.
