That would have : horrific consequences among both humans and Sangheili. It might also be exactly what needs to happen though. ONI has long been held by the fandom as being absurdly powerful. They are to Halo what the Patriots were to Metal Gear Solid. Ultimately, they might just need to be exposed and their current form destroyed. I doubt the fiction would go that way of course, but in my own little 'headcanon' that is almost exclusively kept to myself, things are brewing that some form of human and alien alliance needs to start working together to expose the way ONI are manipulating all the players in the galaxy from behind the scenes.
