I remember someone speculating prior to Halo 4's release, based on Glasslands, that we might end up fighting S-IVs at some point in the new trilogy because of a rift caused by P and Osman's tomfoolery and Halsey's general awesomeness. It's no question who Chief, Fred, Kelly, and Linda would follow, though Naomi's a bit of a wildcard. It'd be neat to see some of the S-IVs come along with the IIs out of respect, while others demonstrate the same sort of brainwashing the IIs were accused of. That's a much more interesting thread, to me, than fighting more aliens and Forerunner shit, but I very seriously doubt it'll go in that direction. Bungie's tradition of no-killing-humans is probably something 343i won't want to discard.
