I disagree (heh!). This community can handle it. I don't get the impression that Randall Glass or Mothergoat or Vector40 or whoever else expressed criticisms of Halo 2 are going away. (And even if one of them did, whcih would be a shame, the community could still handle it.) One of the cool things about this community, and it has everything to do with the kinds of games that Bungie makes that attract people with insightful, critical minds, is that it can handle and even encourage dissent. In fact, what it doesn't encourage is unthinking fanboi-ism. I have no idea what the HL2 forua are like, but if they really aren't comparing hte sequel to the original or expressing ANY critiques of the game, they either have the best game ever on their hands or they aren't really thinking analytically about the game. : all this positive thinking for Half-Life 2 and the negative thinking for Halo
That's a shame. Stick around. Realize that the game will be great (if not GREAT, according to some) whether some people ahve problems with it or not. -Sep7imus
