Thinking about this hurts my head. This is ridiculous. This is what happens when hype gets out of control. The expectations for Halo 2 were so high that you have no choice but to be disappointed. Barring the first ever perfect game, Halo 2 had no chance of living up to what you want it to be. If it were the sequel to any game other than Halo, the same people would be ranting and raving about how great it is instead of whining about it not being as good as Halo 1.
