Yeah, my biggest problem with the new health system is that it's harder to know how close you are to dying. After the shields are gone, you can take "a few more hits", but how many exactly? And you can't tell how many you've taken so far and how many more you can take. That's true, but that just goes back to his point that they should have increased the power of the weaker weapons instead of weakening or completely removing Halo 1's better weapons. The old RL blast radius would have been fine in Halo 2 if everyone spawned with a reasonably powerful, versatile midrange weapon. Thankfully it's a free country and everyone can have their own opinion about a video game. I hate Halo 2's multiplayer with a passion (at least for the ranked gametype settings), but that's just me. :-) |
