: Mr. Scott... really? I mean... REALLY? : - M I couldn't agree with you more. Ironically, it seemed to share the same weaknesses as Lost, Lindelof's last big project - a series of disconnected set pieces strung together without rhyme, reason, or follow-through, simply meant to inspire 'questions!?' but completely nonsensical if given even a moment's thought. Nobody in the movie seems to react to what's happening around them in a logical or believable fashion. Just an example at random - one of the two scientists who gets 'lost' is the same scientist who deployed the surveying probes and has a map on his wrist computer. How does that happen? Why go from terrified to 'aw, a snake!'? Why don't people react to Shaw post-surgery? What's the point of the whole Fifield - aaargh
