In Response To: Re: Why Halo's Objective Gametypes Suck - Part 1 (uberfoop) : Covie vehicles in Halo 1's campaign don't regenerate health. Reach vehicles : do. Up to thresholds, like with the player health, anyway; the thresholds : are denoted by the visible damage levels. One of the reasons it's so : difficult to kill a banshee when you can't get your team to coordinate : fire is that, if you don't drop the banshee beneath a health threshold, it : can just hide and get its health back. This is one reason that banshee : pilots occasionally head to the empty side of Boneyard for a breather. Yes, I'm aware of this issue. Still, my point stands: vehicles have their own independent set of hit points, which is better than the way things used to be. IMO, vehicles should not have regenerating HP, but to compensate they should have more HP than they do in Reach. And the Banshee's FRC shouldn't be as deadly as it is in Reach.
