In Response To: Re: Why Halo's Objective Gametypes Suck - Part 1 (uberfoop) : Reach has the same thing, merely tempered by a couple of health thresholds. Actually, while damage done to a vehicle bleeds over to its occupant(s), vehicles in Reach have their own set of hit points separate from the player's, just as Covie vehicles in Halo 1's Campaign did. : Perhaps the best solution with respect to this particular issue is to not
I agree about the Banshee. It needed more hit points, but a serious reduction in either the damage or rate of fire of its fuel rod cannon. The Banshee may be fragile as hell, but its firepower and maneuverability serve to negate that weakness when the Banshee is in the right hands and/or the the pilot's opponents can't coordinate their fire on the Banshee. Also, the Scorpion's cannon should have had its rate of fire cut in half.
