In Response To: Re: On the Relationship Between Halos and Flood *l (Louis Wu) : I've always believed that Bungie has been vague about how the rings do what : they do... because they never bothered to work it out themselves. Why bother saying how it works, you'll only get naysayers explaining how your idea couldn't possibly work. OTOH Seven 25,000 ly radius total perspective vortexes would kill any lifeform sentient enough to care that its part in the universe was very very small. So not only did those Forerunner SOBs kill all sentients in the galaxy... they did it in the most horrific way possible.
