If it's not a normal : explosion, how did ANY of them survive? 04 wasn't working when it exploded. It was breaking. :-) For all we know, the normal/proper Halo activation is a gentle as the draft from a butterfly's wing. The only difference is that it kills every sentient within 25,000 light years. Remember Bob McLees' analogy. In the future weapons wont be like the weapons we have today. You drink a glass of water and all your enemies die.
