In Response To: *Slight spoiler* (Inverted Sock Puppet) : Hmm, true. Still I don't think they are supposed to tie in with
That would certainly be convenient, except what little I can see of the equations seems more consistent with a wave equation (our circularly polarized electromagnetic wave, perhaps), but that may be a stretch. More importantly, the story of Kate in the dream levels is only connected to the Achilles virus by analogy. The Jjaro would never be so direct as to refer to the virus specifically. I've always thought that the equations were symbolic of science in general. : Fair enough, but then again according to the final screens for
I don't have a good answer to that one. : It's a great view isn't it, the Opera House might look strange from
Texas! Yuck (no offense to those of you who may live there, but it's not the most attractive part of the U.S. I hope that you at least had a chance to visit San Antonio and Austin - the more attractive cities in Texas. Big Bend National Park is also exquisitely beautiful, but a favorite area for drug runners to cross the border. If you ever come back, I've visited all but 3 of the 50 states, which will be down to 2 after this summer, as we will be going to Mane. (The only 2 left will be N. Dakota and Mississippi.) My favorite cities in the U.S. are Seattle (even more than the S.F Bay area, where I once lived), NYC, Washington D.C. (another former home), and Chicago. Boston, Philadelphia and San Diego are also nice, and LA has some nice places (my step-father-in-law lives in the Marina, with a view I never tire of). In terms of scenic beauty, our park system is without parallel. I'm particularly partial to the desert parks in Southern Utah and northern Arizona, but Yellowstone is in a class by itself, and the Rocky Mountain parks are also spectacular. Believe it or not, Rochester NY is the nicest place I have ever lived - we do a lousy job of advertizing what we have, which includes water, water, everywhere, fine wineries, some world-class museums, a cultural environment that is exceptional and, unlike in NYC, available, and a delightful 4 season climate (this is saying a lot coming from someone who used to hate snow). We came here for a job at the University, but have been here 10 years now, much to our amazement. : I hope to dispel a common myth here; it's Sydney, not Sidney. Oops - I know that. Chalk it up to carelessness - like using “Harry” rather than “Hairy” Legs. ;-)
