I can't verify your soucre, but I've read the same thing. More importantly, if you own a gun, you are much more likely to be shot by it than to use it on someone else. Let's face it, when emotions run high, having a gun around makes murder or suicide far too convenient. : in canada Automatic weapons, large bore shotguns (like a : 12gauge), and rifles with large ammo capacity are illegal, : america has the most lax gun laws. And I love visiting Canada - Toronto is actually the closest major city to Rochester, and we do feel a lot safer there. I deplore the NRA and cannot fathom why anyone needs to own an assault rifle, or to use cop-killer bullets. The 2nd amendment was never meant to protect such things. On the other hand, several of the 9/11 terrorists entered the U.S. through Canada. Our immigration procedures have been sorely inadequate, but Canada remains a major weak point. I hate to see closed borders and xenophobia, but we live in a dangerous world and can't afford to be so trusting any more. Now what the hell does this have to do with Rubicon?
