These are things that most national : governments do in one form or another. : Apparently. Then again, what would I know about the issue, I'm just another : knuckle-dragging rascist right-wing American inbred religious nut with a : gun and a pickup truck and a big ol' confederate flag hangin' up in my : garage.....Notice I don't knock Canadian domestic policy, the main reason : being I'm not Canadian. : Yossarian : -...turned the power to the have nots...and then came the shot...- I don't know much (anything) about America's gun laws, but I mean come on. Everyone arming themselves can't be a good thing. If you think mob violence in other countries is bad, imagine an American mob armed with automatic weapons. Look at England. They have much lower murder rates with no firearms allowed. Their police don't even use firearms, they call in the equivalent of SWAT teams to deal with people armed with guns. The theory is that once the police start using guns, then everyone else will too.
