I agree that the Taliban are (for lack of a better word) criminals, but that doesn't excuse a country to kidnap them. There is no doubt that retaliatory attacks should have been carried out on Al-Queada targets, but the Taliban should not have been attacked unless they attacked any US soldiers first. Also there is a difference between providing a safe haven for terrorists and not stopping them. As far as I can tell (I could be wrong) the Taliban just said they would not attact Al_queda, maybe this difference is not clear in Bush's eyes, but it is in mine. I cannot believe that the US attacked a country that is 2nd last in the HDI (Human Development Index), this includes all the countries in the world. PS. Don't get me started on his strike first policy. PPS. Did you know that Bush is only the second dumbest US president (In IQ points), make you think. PPPS. I don't mean for this to degenerate into a flame war.
