: (Bungie has never actually laid out how the Flood works - but they seemed : close enough to the Vang that I proposed a set of rules for Flood takeover : mechanics back when Halo came out, and sent it along to Bungie for : approval. I knew they wouldn't specifically confirm my ideas, or answer : direct questions, but I asked them to yank anything I speculated on that : was outright wrong. They yanked nothing.)
