Thanks, Brian! I remember this theory now, and I did find it very interesting back then, although I thought that they wouldn't be having another time loop in the game itself. Old Grunty didn't quite approve of it as a plot device. The identity of the "Protector of the Luminous Key" and deciding whether or not Cortana would go rampant in future (as opposed to going back to the past and then going rampant) were more important.

Jillybean, it looks like our theories have been vindicated. She's RAMPANT! But...she doesn't turn rampant in the game. Downer!
