While the idea of the John being the one to activate the Halo array is cool in some senses, it ignores the terminals in Halo 3 which reference the very Forerunner that activated them. And calling John a reclaimer only makes sense of he is reclaiming .. something. Ok, this might not make sense: If humans are reclaimers, then they were given that title because they were anticipated to rise up and reclaim the Forerunner's legacy/whatever after it was left abandoned following the activation. A reclaimer wouldn't be the one to activate the array in the first place.. it doesn't fit the role. This assumes humans are not forerunners.
