I've had lengthy discussions about this before... Supposedly: First - I've been told 'jiggawatts' is the correct pronunciation. Second - There was no unit of measure for this when the movie was made, and they were pronouncing it correctly (without knowing), trying to make it sound funny. All of this information comes from a co-worker. If you find otherwise, please let me rub it in his face.
