Ah, yes, when talking to the forerunner in our past he would probably recognise that it is Guilty spark through what he says, not his personality/behavior. (From what guilty spark has already told him in our present).

As for Durandal, I wouldn't know (I wasn't 'around' when Marathon came out, time to check the MSP!). :)

Anyway, if chief went back in time it would make a lousy game, it would be like, 'The Library' x10!
