In Response To: We may have overlooked one little plot issue (RVideo) Perhaps it has to do with the way the UNSC is organized? Maybe some units have a mix of male and female marines, and some are segregated, or some have an excess of one sex over the other? Pillar of Autumn's marines were supposed to have been carefully chosen, as some of the best fighters in the corps (Although they are just a bunch of bozos in game :P ). Maybe the UNSC wasn't too keen on females until rather close to 2552, so the most experienced soldiers would have been male.
